Solvd named as Heathrow’s supplier of the year 2024

We are delighted to be named Supplier of the Year for Heathrow Airport.  

At Solvd, our mission is to craft unique solutions that get results and experience tells us, the best way to do this, is to work on the same goal together. ‘We are really nice humans...who care as much as we do to achieve the goal.’ (Steph De Matos, Learning Lead, Heathrow Airport).  The goal is simple. Heathrow want to make every journey better for their customers and as a partner we want to help them do it.

So, we were totally chuffed to hear Thomas Woldbye, Group CEO, Heathrow Airport, saying how the work we do is having a positive impact on that Thomas talk more about us below

What we worked on with Heathrow

Solvd Together has been a partner of the Heathrow Learning and Development team since 2022, supporting colleagues across multiple projects as it builds for the future.  

From our immersive leadership development programme, Lead the Way, to crafting an innovative programme design to engage colleagues with the new Security CT programme we are making a difference to how people feel about their work.  

Passenger Experience Dilemmas - where staff had to decide how best to address problems

We also designed an immersive event for their key passenger experience colleagues resetting their mindset and role as they transitioned post pandemic.  

By working as one team, we combine our partners’ vast understanding of Heathrow, with our desire to constantly stretch the boundaries of design to collaboratively create innovative learning experiences that directly impact both the colleague and customer experiences across the airport.

Results summary

For the Leadership Programme, engagement scores were up +7%pts in the Heathrow Great Place to Work survey (November 2024) with the highest scoring metric ‘I have a good working relationship with my line manager’, at 77%.

To date, over 1600 Leaders have attended the first phase of the programme with an average NPS of +51 across a diverse range of leadership experience, levels and roles.

For the passenger experience events, over 150 people attended with an average NPS score of +57 and 2 events scoring +100 NPS. The transformation to the customer experience in the summer 2023 made contributed to a reduction in complaints and colleague engagement.
